Yang Yenn joined the Light Standards team at MSL in 2016. Before this, he came to NZ from Malaysia to complete his BE honours degree in Massey University, Palmerston North, majoring in mechatronics.
Since joining MSL, YY has been working mainly in the area of photometry for the testing and calibration of light and UV sources, measuring instruments and photometric quantities of materials. His work also includes the maintenance and development of capabilities in the areas of photometry, radiometry and spectrophotometry. He also enjoys spending time doing mechanical designs, rapid prototyping and automation.
