Biography
Adam did his Ph.D. on the design and operation of a VHF wind-profiling radar at the University of Canterbury. Prior to joining MSL in 2016, Adam worked in fisheries acoustics at the National Institute for Water and Atmospheric Research, where he was responsible for the design, calibration, and operation of scientific equipment during surveys lasting up to a month in remote offshore areas. He has expertise in instrumentation, calibration and system development. Adam now works on Time and Frequency metrology and is responsible for maintaining New Zealand’s time standard.
